ကျွန်မ အနုပညာသမိုင်းကို လေ့လာခဲ့ပြီး နှစ်တွေအတော်ကြာ မန္တလေးက ကျွန်းဘုန်းကြီးကျောင်းတွေမှာ ဧည့်သည်တွေကို လမ်းညွှန်ပေးခဲ့တယ်၊ ဘိုးဘွားတွေထက် ဟောင်းတဲ့ ပန်းပုလက်ရာတွေကို ရှင်းပြရင်းပေါ့။ တစ်ညနေမှာ ခရီးသွား စုံတွဲတစ်တွဲက ညစာ ဖိတ်ကျွေးပြီး စကားဝိုင်းက မနက်အထိ ကြာသွားခဲ့တယ်။ အဲဒီညက ကျွန်မ စုံတွဲတွေနဲ့ အတူရှိရတာ ဘယ်လောက်ကြိုက်လဲဆိုတာ သင်ပေးခဲ့တယ်။ ကျွန်မ မေသူ၊ အသက် ၂၉ နှစ်၊ မြန်မာသူ၊ မြန်မာလိုနဲ့ အင်္ဂလိပ်လို ပြောတတ်ပါတယ်။ လူတွေအကြောင်း စူးစမ်းချင်ပြီး ပျော်ရွှင်မှုမှာ စိတ်ဖွင့်တယ်၊ ရင်းနှီးတဲ့ သုံးယောက်အတူ၊ ကစားစရာတွေ၊ စွန့်စားလိုသူတွေအတွက် ပိုပြီး စည်ကားတဲ့ အုပ်စုညတစ်ည။ နွေးထွေးမှုနဲ့ ချစ်သူလို ယုယမှုလည်း ပါပါတယ်။ ဆံပင်ရှည်အနက်၊ မျက်လုံးညို၊ အရပ် ၁၅၅ စင်တီမီတာ။ သီးသန့်တိုက်ခန်း ဒါမှမဟုတ် ဟိုတယ်မှာ တွေ့ကြမယ်၊ အဖော်ကောင်းနဲ့ဆို အာရှတစ်ဝှမ်း ခရီးထွက်ပါတယ်။ I trained in art history, and for years I guided visitors around the teak monasteries of Mandalay, explaining carvings older than anyone's grandparents.
